Grapevine comes from a love of UK nightlife. We are a team of ex-venue owners, industry consultants, DJs, bartenders and general party goers.
We focus on providing venues of a sizes a free way to tell the world about what they do. More importantly we have designed Grapevine as a way for them to be found.
The app is designed to provide people with all the information they need to plan and create a great night out. Everyone looks for different things from a night out, Grapevine seeks to answer those questions with up to date information.
Our vision is to develop Grapevine into a better social network...a truly sociable network.

Look out you crazy hipsters, Brighton is now on the app. Download it for free!
Two of Leicester's biggest nights combine for what is sure to be an event of epic proportions.
Each week we'll showcase for you a seriously goood event from our app. This week it's a blast from the past with SONiDO at Superfly.
The advantage of working with Grapevine is that your next potential regular is actively seeking out what you have to offer and is being directed to you through carefully placed keywords. Having been the most viewed venue on their app and having an influx of a new clientelle we know Grapevine works and works well.
Working with Grapevine has brought us to the attention of a demographic we may not have reached through our own social networking and marketing. The limitations of inhouse internet presence like Facebook and Twitter is that the only people that see it are those that are already aware of you through having already visited the venue.

Whether you're a bar wanting to get on the app, a brand who wants to work with us or you simply want to tell how how awesome the app is, we'd love to hear from you.

A true innovation in taking drinks brands into the palm of customer's hands.
Our ad banners run right through the user's experience. They use our app to find venues of all types and are often looking to experience something new. What better place to introduce them to your brand?
We can even place different messages in front of different demographics. You can specify your ad by gender, age, location...even whether they are a student or not.
Looking to unlock more accounts? We offer wallpapers that are seen by the venues while they update the app - get in front of decision makers, create new on trade business.
To get your venue on the app we simply start by taking info from your website, Facebook and Twitter pages. We don't write reviews of your venue (there are enough review sites already out there) nor do we let users leave reviews (there's already Trip Advisor for that).
You'll be sent login details so you can edit the page moving forward. When you login you get a 'Profile Page' where you add a logo, contact info, some good looking pics and links to your Facebook and Twitter. You also have a tab for each day of the week - here you add a description, opening times, the music you'll be playing and the drinks you'll be serving. The more you fill in the more searches you'll appear in.
Every time you update the app you go straight to the top of the search results. This keep the information for our users up to date without any of that fancy Google SEO stuff.
Great for the city you know, essential for the city you don't.
Our app makes it easy to find what's good and going in in a city's nightlife. Simple filters help you discover bars and clubs by the music they play, drinks they serve, what they're charging on the door and what time they stop serving.
Search for something specific or just browse them all. It's the app your social life has been waiting for.
A deep love of the bar industry has taken Jono from glass collector to award winning bartender, manager to venue owner.
Grapevine was born from a frustration at the lack of information that covers cities across the UK. It is designed to help venues get more of the customers they want - customers who know what music is on, the style of drinks they serve.
Good and mixing drinks, bad at mixing music

The birthplace of Grapevine. A vibrant nightlife that will surprise you.
From the crazy student parties you may expect from a University city to some really excellent cocktail bars - Leicester ain't what you think.
Tuesday nights see the best in Hip Hop showcased at Religion at Rockafellas. Thursday is a great night to hit up places like Turkey Cafe, Taps and our boys at Manhattan34. Friday is all about Deep House with OneFifteen and Saturday is as you'd expect with Ghost being our recommendation
The birthplace of Grapevine. A great, varied nightlife that sees excellent cocktail bars mixed with some huge student nights.
In the midweek there are some tip live music events at legendary venues like Stealth, Bodega and of course Rock City. Tuesday we recommend the antics of Phlebas whilst on Thursday we recommend Market Bar. Saturday take your pic of the excellent CocoTang or Pandoras Box.
Just away from the city centre is West Bridgeford which is particularly good of a Friday night before heading into town.
We love Leeds. Some of the best cocktail bars in the land and busy throughout the week to boot.
Call Lane has been home to places like Jakes Bar, Oporto, Neon Cactus and Call Lane Social for years and is practically a Mecca for cocktail lovers (bad analogy but who cares!).
Expect huge student nights too as Leeds has one of the UK's biggest student populations. Of course there's some crap but there's some quality club nights with Halo, HiFi, The Cockpit and the O2.
A mix of some fantastic restaurants and good cocktail bars. Birmingham also has some top forward thinking music venues.
In Island Bar, The Victoria and The Jekyll & Hyde you have a group of bars that serve up excellent cocktails with character.
Superclubs like Gatecrasher and Nightingale host some huge events while the Rainbow Venues sees some of the biggest names in underground house - top stuff.
41 venues covered on the app and we'll have a search function on the site here soon.
We were pleasantly surprised with Cambridge - loads of great bars and a vibrant music scene.
For some good drinks check out La Raza, the excellent 12a or Hidden Rooms. Keep an eye on events at the Fountain for some great line ups too.
In the midweek Lola Lo is a good option for high end student clubbing while on weekends Fez is well worth a look

Extravagant. Stylish. Chic. Words many would use to describe a bottle that sits upon many a back-bar – Grand Marnier. The orange liqueur from France is also steeped in history, dating back to 1827.
In this year, a gentleman named Jean-Baptiste Lapostolle founded a distillery in Neauphe-le-Château, France that produced fruit liqueurs. In 1876, his granddaughter married Louis-Alexandre Marnier, the son of a wine-making family from the Sancerre region, culminating in the Marnier Lapostolle family. The original name and product of ‘Curaçao Marnier’ came about in 1880, but when inventor Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle had his friend César Ritz (gentleman behind such hotels as Hôtel Ritz in Paris and The Ritz Hotel in London) taste his creation, he enjoyed it so much that he suggested the name we now all come to know so well – Grand Marnier.
